Christmas time in Germany! Learn some vocabulary with use!

are you ready for  celebrate Christmas? We hope so!!

Xmas in Germany

In the meantime, we’ve decided to keep you company during this month and give your some information and curiosity on different Christmas tradition. We are starting with GERMAN TRADITIONS!

German celebration officially start the 11th November, St Martin day. For that day, children use to make lanterns and bring them to the procession. Then from the 1st December every child gets one advent calendar: each day they open one box and promise to do a good deed. On the 6th December, St. Nicholas brings chocolate and sweets, such as Lebkuchen or Christollen. Few days later, precisely the 24th night, Santa Claus brings gift and presents children have been waiting for.
